Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • 7+ years total relevant work experience

  • Solid technical knowledge of Industrial, automotive, home appliance or similar market applications, system architectures and technical trends

  • Proven track record of successful business development and revenue growth for large product portfolios

  • Have analytical mind, works with structured approach, is result oriented, can meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Strong business acumen, understanding OEM, distribution and EMSI supply chain

  • Fluency in spoken and written English, and one or more European languages

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work independently in a global team environment.

  • Ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams without direct report responsibility, and influence senior leadership

  • Enjoy regular travel (25%+) within EMEA and at least annually to division headquarters’ outside EMEA

Job Description

  • Develops and executes the Power Solution Group’s EMEA Market development strategy, helps shape the roadmap for PSG products, and provides regular reporting, forecasting and market intelligence to the Business Units

  • Creates business plans for application specific markets, including market analysis, containing information about TAM & SAM, key target customers, market trend, current portfolio match and block diagram based promotion material, portfolio gap and new product request to drive relevant product roadmap & defines KPI’s to drive and measure progress

  • Raises internal and external awareness of product portfolio & product roadmap and newly released products by organizing, coordinating and facilitating technical product/application trainings (both ON Semiconductor staff and Distribution partners) and visiting customers regularly with sales partners for product promotion

  • Be or become expert of the products portfolios under EMEA responsibility, be the BU ambassador and be recognized as the go to person for trusted advice by sales & apps, customers and distributors and the go to person for the BU for EMEA market advise & strategy implementation

  • Monitors identified top opportunities, and drives regional stakeholders and Business Units on action items needed to win business and drive forecast to secure safe ramp

  • Identifies and articulates new product development opportunities, including key technical features, key sample/RTM milestone timing, value proposition, pricing expectations, and annual run-rate potential

  • Provides revenue forecasts to division management, and drives quarter end revenue achievement

  • Organizes and conducts regular design reviews and participates actives in company Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). Collaborates on trade shows and other MarCom & Press related activities
