Distribution Sales Manager, EMEA
• Contributes to development of business plans for defined channel partner(s)
• In collaboration with regional DSMs, defines and agrees regional subsets of overall goals and KPIs with channel partner(s) and reviews periodically to ensure performance in line with agreed targets
• Establish strong relationships with key personnel at channel partner(s) at corporate and regional level as well as with regional sales teams within the business
• In conjunction with regional DSMs, responsible for identifying and execution of corrective actions in relation to business plan and targets
• Co-ordinates inputs for periodic forecasting across defined channel partner(s)
• Responsible for ensuring agreed inventory levels at defined channel partner(s) are maintained; defining new product stocking in coordination with Channel Marketing and/or BUs/Broad Market teams and agreeing appropriate stocking with defined channel partner(s)
• Gives input to and participates in improvement projects to ensure ease of doing business with the channel partner(s)
• Responsible for managing all business escalations from defined channel partner(s)
• Ensures that agreed programmes are managed / executed successfully with defined channel partner(s) e.g. DFAE certification
• Identifies general training needs with defined partner(s) and in collaboration with regional DSMs and relevant internal teams, defines and organizes training accordingly
Profile & Experience
• University degree or equivalent qualification in appropriate discipline
• Min. 5 years’ experience in sales and distribution or similar / related industry
• Sound operational and process skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Fluent English-speaker; second European language required (preferably German)
